My portfolio is a collective sampling of my technical and creative work over the last (7) years as a Multimedia Professional.

My career as a Multimedia Professional spans across quite a few disciplines and includes professional work in areas such as Multimedia, Graphic Design, Marketing, Technical Writing and Instructional Design.

Multimedia is such a broad term that many people are confused by its definition and what exactly one does in this profession. The very definition of Multimedia is ...." many types of media - print, web, interactive, audio, video"...."one who has the knowledge (technical and creative), that can take simple and abstract concepts and be able to communicate them effectively in a variety of formats.

A Multimedia Professional isn't necessarily an expert in any one type of media, but is very strong in one or several areas.

Therefore, a Multimedia Professional can most likely find work across a variety of job categories such as: Graphic Design, Web Design & Development, Flash Design & Development, Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, Instructional Design and Training.

Provided project management, technical writing, and design expertise.

Multimedia/Interactive - Applied instructional design process and marketing objectives to the creation of interactive media. Designed, developed and tested all tradeshow sequences, web banner ads, online books, interactive CDs, animations and provided technical support.

Website - Selected, directed and assisted with the design and marketing strategy of Engineered Solutions Group website including search engine optimization (SEO), positioning and linking strategies. Also, updated and maintained the group's website.

Graphics/Design -Designed and developed literature pieces and graphics.

Advertising - Print (managed development and placement), Web (managed, created, and inserted banner ads, online spots and reciprocal links)

Provided technical writing assistance in the creation of a 120+ volume operations and maintenance manual.

Provided technical writing and instructional design services for the Web Operations (WOPs) and Marketing Operations (MOPs) teams. A training/reference manual was
created and used to train new employees and also serve as an online reference.
