“Filmography - Rolf Schrader made his filmmaking debut directing a number of award-winning documentaries, public service announcements and music videos. He then wrote and directed his first short film WHERE RIVER FLOWS that premiered as one of six Opening Night Gala films at the Toronto Worldwide Short Film Festival. Shortly thereafter, Rolf wrote and directed his first feature film STONE COATS. It premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival, where it acquired worldwide distribution. He then attended the American Film Institute (AFI), as a Directing Fellow, but left to direct his second feature film, HUNGRY HEARTS. This film was selected to compete at fifteen International Film Festivals, garnering Rolf two awards for Best Director, acquired worldwide distribution, and had its European Premier at the Cannes Film Festival. Rolf also co-wrote as well as directed the short, Sci-Fi thriller A.N.I 1240, based on his feature script. A.N.I. premiered at the Boston Film Festival, invited to fifteen International Film Festivals, winning three awards, and acquired worldwide distribution. Mr. Schrader is contracted to re-write and direct the teen thriller DEAD GIRLS CLUB as well as write and direct the romantic thriller KARMAKAZES.”
